The studio apartment is located in strict center of city Rijeka next to the historical monuments The Church of St Mary of the Assumption and The leaning tower. This lovely studio apartment can accommodate up to 4 people on two single beds and on pull out sofa. The guests can use large SAT TV, equipped kitchen, bathroom, air conditioning, heating, washing machine and storage. All stores, markets, restaurants, cafe bars are on in close area, only few steps away. The apartment is situated in building on first floor and the local paring is only 20 m distance. Pets are allowed on request.

The city of Rijeka, Croatia is large and beautiful tourist town. With its beauty, ancient looks and enormous significance it lures many visitors and guests throughout the year. With so many high schools, colleges and universities it became a huge hub for younger generations.

Throughout the year, Rijeka offers a variety of entertainment, events and concerts in order to provide more fun for the tourists. In the city one can find many clubs, bars and other establishments that provide only the best fun time in this city, but also offers many theaters and cinemas with a variety of performances and movies projections.

Many restaurants offer only the best local specialties of traditional coastal cuisine so that one really cannot go by and not try them out. In addition to the rich wine list, with only the best local wines and liquers there are many desserts that are specific only for this town.

There are many tours and excursions available in this city. During the summer season, the most popular are excursions to Islands of Rab, Pag, Krk and Lošinj. Along side, you can see a huge variety of wild life in Risnjak National Park with some unique animal spices. In the winter time, a very popular ski resort “Platak” is the most crowded outdoor place ever. It is a beautiful place for skiing, boarding and spending some quality time with your children and family all together. A very neat thing is, that you can do all that in just about 25 minutes away from the Adriatic sea shore line. Basically, on a lovely day in early spring, you can spend half a day swimming in the sea, and the other half on skiing on the mountains. This is such a rare and unique place. History and Heritage of Rijeka

The City of Rijeka is well known since early dawn times because of it’s strategic, trading, and transit superb location. First written records say that first settlements were made by settlers in between 64 B.C. And 14 A.D. Also known as the time of Caesar Octavian. At that time, settlers  have started to increasingly approach the Kvarner bay and began to settle on the area of ​​today’s old town where there are many remains such as the famous city walls.

After the fall of the Western Roman Empire Rijeka fell under the rule of many monarchies and their  superpowers such as the Ostrogoth’s, Byzantines, Hungarians and many others which all have been stealing from its people. In the 16th century the city was beginning to write Glagolitic brochures and also began to develop many shops such as grocery stores, oil, wool, wood, iron and so on. In the 18th century under the Trsat hill, a new settlement area began to develop under the name of Sušak.
The 19th century was a significant time for the city of Rijeka. In this century, construction of tall and large buildings has begun in the city that had a significant impact on the development of the city and its appearance and size. In that period, Rijeka belonged to Austro Hungarian monarchy. At the same time, city port, paper factory, national library and first European gas plant.
After the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy in 1919 Rijeka gets city status, which gives even greater meaning. After the collapse of  Austro Hungarian monarchy, Rijeka becomes incorporated and gets a City title.

Historic Preservation’s

The City of Rijeka in it’s area has many attractions from all of the historical period that adorn this city and give it great importance. Most of the historical monuments and institutions are fully preserved or newly reconstructed so they can be preserved so that visitors can learn through them all important segments of the history of this city.
